The Real Time Clock Timer RTC-1048, or RTC for short, is a digital clock with two primary functions:

1. Keeping accurate time: It does this like any regular clock, but with high precision. It can track hours, minutes, and seconds up to 23:59:59.

2. Acting as a timer: You can program it with 16 different on and off time settings. This means it can automatically turn things on or off at specific times, making it useful for various applications like controlling lights, machines, or irrigation systems.
